Winter Essentials - Elegant

It is getting colder and darker each day. Sadly because of this we have to dress a lot warmer and this proves to be an issue for many women. Although it can be a challenge, we will get through the negative temperatures and harsh wind by layering and wearing accessories that are made to keep you warm but also make sure that they keep you stylish.  Many of these products are easy to find so you can wear the exact ones in the picture or modify and find some similar ones to match your style! This will be a three part series to cover all styles. There will be a Winter Essentials - casual, elegant , and edgy. So keep checking back to see when the next ones come out!

If you are walking down the streets trying your best to look put together but freezing on the inside, then you should follow theses tips to get the best of both worlds!

Gloves: If you are going for a elegant look, leather gloves are a must have! They keep you warm because they are leather and look very stylish. You should go for neutral colors, reds, or if you are daring a light pink.

Hat: If it were up to me, I wouldn't wear hats because I personally don't like them, especially winter hats. Sadly, the wind and coldness is stronger than my willpower and I always end up wearing a hat. Choose hats that are more fitted or have a pretty pattern or material. I like crochet hats with some embellishments like the one in the picture.

Scarf: I did not include a scarf in this picture because that jacket has fur around the neck. Although if you have a jacket without the fur, than make sure your scarf matches your gloves and hat. Also make sure that they are all similar textures.

Boots: For a stylish look, you can never go wrong with ankle height boots with fur on top!

Jacket: The jacket in the picture is obviously very warm, the color paired with the fur around the neck makes it look very elegant and keeps you very warm. It is like having scarf around your neck but not actually wearing a scarf! There is a black belt that goes around your waist and accentuates it. It also keeps you warm. Lastly, the black buttons and other details like the drawstring at the bottom makes this look very elegant. With this jacket, you will be the best-looking and warmest women on the street.

Winter Essentials - Casual

Winter Must-Haves!!!

It is getting colder and darker each day. Sadly beacuse of this we have to dress a lot warmer and this proves to be an issue for many women. Although it can be a challenge, we will get through the negative temperatures and harsh wind by layering and wearing accesories that are made to keep you warm but also make sure that they keep you stylish.  Many of these products are easy to find so you can wear the exact ones in the picture or modify and find some similar ones to match your style! This will be a three part series to cover all styles. There will be a Winter Essentials - casual, elegant , and edgy. So keep checking back to see when the next ones come out!

So if you have a laid- back type of style, which I love for school or lazy week-ends, these are the essentials you will need!
Mittens: Mittens are a very simple accessory but they can look really nice when paired with other accessories. Also, they happen to be one the warmest type of glove so if this seems like your style, lucky you! Make sure to buy neutral colors, so grey, black, brown, salt and pepper, burgundy, all these colors should look great and match with anything!

Scarf: For a really laid back look, which is also obviously the comfiest and warmest, I suggest a circle scarf. Make sure to match the color of your circle scarf with your mittens and hat or if that isnt possible, if you stick to neutral colors all your accessories should match even if they are not the exact same color.

Hat: Beanies!!! Beanies are the ultimate laid- back hat! They keep you warm and look super cute on anyone. Since they became so popular, there are many different colors and patterns to choose from! Just make sure to stay in the neutral color palette.

Boots: My personal favorite boots are sorels, I especially love the grey, black, and white model because they literally match anything!

Other: I really like wearing thick plaid shirts in the winter time because they can be worn many different ways (a post coming out about that soon!) and because they are great for layering. Plaid shirts are great for layering and look great and put together even though it is the easiest thing possible. My favorite type of plaid shirt is they type with the hood. You can find warm flannels with hoods at Forever 21.

I hope you enjoy these tips and stay really warm!

Inspiration of the Day

This is my inspiration of the day! This is a very simple and easy look to recreate. Even though it is very simple it still looks very elegant and chic at the same time. I love the way she accessorizes with the belt, infinity scarf, and the shoulder bag with gold details. Wearing lot's of black can be wearing overwhelming sometime but she managed to make the overall look not to dark by wearing a white t-shirt and the burgundy scarf.

Challenge: Try making your own look similar to this by using the colors black, white, burgundy, and gold!

Boxing Day Haul (Abercrombie, Sephora, Aritzia, and more)!

Hello fellow fashion lovers,
Today was a big day for us ! Boxing Day! The day where every store has a sale (except for the ones that close for the day because they are grinches).  So today I spent 4 long hours walking around the mall and I went in almost every store! By the end of it I could hardly walk! Fortunately, all my walking paid off, I bought stuff from 6 of the stores (Abercrombie, Hollister, Baqh & Body Works, Aritzia, La Senza, and Sephora). Although, most of the things I bought were not on sale but still I found some products.
In La Senza I bought a bra($15) and a thong ($4).
In Sephora I bought a Smashbox lipstick in the color pout.
In Abercrombie I bought a beautiful floral romper ($20)  I think this was the find of the day because the material is very silky and flows nicely with your body ( if I may add, it also makes your butt look great).
I got a sheer crop top and a striped halter top from Hollister.
At Bath and Body Works I got a room freshener that you just plug into a wall and put in a fragerence bulb and it will instantly make your room smell great.
Last but not least I bought burgundy gloves and a bburgundyand black hat from Aritzia.

So that's what I bought hopefully you have found as many great deals as I have. Have a great New Year!
